When the current location is entered in the BlueGIS, the coordinate of the target point can be calculated according to the slope and distance values.

The Create Point panel can be accessed from the Create Point-Slope, Distance' option under the 'Calculations' in the left menu.

Point Creation Using Slope And Distance

There are 3 main menus in the coordinate conversion panel.

1. Map: Used for displaying the map

2. Point: Coordinate transformation operations are done in this menu

3. List: The points produced are listed here

1. Step: Coordinate System to be Used

First, select the coordinate system to be used in the point creation panel. Initially, there are 3 coordinate systems:

  1. EPSG-4326 (WGS84)

  2. EPSG-4917 (ITRF96)

  3. EPSG-3857

If the coordinate system to be used is different from these, use the coordinate system search panel.
